Running for Township Office?

Anyone interested in running for Township Office (Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer or Trustee) must submit a nominating petition and affidavit of identity to the Office of the Township Clerk by 4:00p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2008.

Just a reminder that the Treasurer has announced that she is not seeking reelection.

Congratulations...

The Township congratulates and welcomes our three newest Medical First Responders:  Carolyn Amman, Mike Terry and Jessica Wagle.  These three individuals have recently completed the MRF class and will be serving on our department to provide basic pre-ambulance care to our residents in need.  Good Job!   If you'd like to become a part of our department, please contact our Fire Chief for more information.

Planning Commission Member Needed.   Hudson Township is in need of a individual willing to serve on the Township's Planning Commission for a three-year term.  Position helps make a development plan of the land use for the township as well as the administration of the zoning ordinance.  Must be a registered elector of Hudson Township.  The Commission meets quarterly throughout the year.  Please contact the Township Clerk for further information.  

BIG MONEY BINGO

The newest game from the State of Michigan Charitable Gaming is now played at Hudson Township Auxiliary Bingo.  Jackpots begin at $10,000.  Bingo every Wednesday night at 7p.m.  All paper bingo.  Come join us!

Fire Truck Project

The Township has ordered two new fire trucks from Rosenbauer America to update our fleet.  We anticipate their arrival to be Summer 2008.  

TRUCK FOR SALE.  Once the new trucks arrive, the township will be selling our current tanker, a 1984 International 3000 gallon tanker at a fair market price.  Contact the Fire Chief for further information.
